Fertility Journey

Knowing your own body can be a very empowering thing. This is a small glimpse into my fertility journey. Peeing in a cup, ovulation strips, taking my temperature, tracking everything on an app, taking medication, and doctor visits.
This process can quickly become discouraging. It can take a whole team of people to help you get pregnant. And, it can take a team to support you in that pregnancy. That is one of the reasons I became a Doula.
If you are planning a pregnancy, I would encourage you and your partner to make birth education a priority. It can be something like taking a class, reading a book, or talking to a doula. Knowledge will empower you and will allow you to advocate for the birth you want!
